Quick Update from Erika: still in the hospital and expected to be here for another week or so. Biopsy confirmed rejection TMA which is relatively rare. My treatment plan changes often but I am in very qualified hands. They are constantly reassessing my treatment and tweaking it as needed. Today is a planned “day off” of treatments (excepts meds) so I may catch up on texts, emails, etc. It has been a roller coaster for sure but all your support has been a major motivation. Please know that I see and hear all of you even if I don’t always respond. Thank you. PS: my family is updating my website every couple days...much better than me;).
It is good to hear from you, Erika. I also had a note from your Mom. It sounds like you are having a well-deserved day of rest so take advantage of that and don’t push to communicate. We are all eager for news and your family has been good about keeping us posted on your progress. Love and prayers – XOX – Zin
We are thinking of you and sending prayers your way. Love the Lillis Family
Erika,
As I Continue to pray for you, and your sister Jana, I know you, along with your health care providers, are making all the right decisions with continued treatment.
You’re an Extremely Bright & Intelligent woman.
You will get through this. Please rest up and bank your energy. That’s very important. I am lending my (virtual) shoulders, and hands to give you hugs, and comforting support. Think of our silly conversations (I’ve shared in the past). I still want to share & express more when your feeling a bit stronger & better.
Everyday stonger, Everday a bit better. #Erika’sStrongJourney.💚
Sending you love, prayers, healing and wishes for sleep! Let me know what I can research for you and don’t worry about replying! Being in the hospital for ever-changing treatments is enough to worry about. <3
Sunday morning and I’m thinking about you and wondering how things are going. I hope that you are finding some success in the treatments, that Jana is well on her way to recovery, and that my dear friend, your mom, is keeping everything together for all of you. She has always been good at that. Sending love and prayers….Zin
