It’s Erika writing today—Kyle is taking a day off:).
First, I want to say a huge thank you! Words cannot express how supported I have felt through this entire process. I have truly enjoyed reading the many comments, FB posts, text messages and miss you all. Also thank you for making my family feel supported as well. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as my sister and her family arrives today to prepare for her surgery on Wednesday, June 17th. She is the best sister in the world!
Second, for an update. Today is post op day 5 and overall doing well. Labs are drawn Monday/Wed/Fri and I go back to clinic for follow up on Thursday. Other vitals are where they should be at this point. Everyday I get to track fluid input/output, BP, weight, temp and drain volume. For those that know me well, this is not my strong point. I get distracted going from the bathroom to where I have to record the data:). And I HATE that dang urine collection hat—it throws off the natural process for urination (remember I am a pelvic health therapist). Does anyone want to help me invent a new one?!?!
Finally, a plug for organ donation. Consider it! It has saved my life…literally! Socially distanced hugs to all.
Thinking of you and praying all is going well. Love you and miss you. May God continue to heal you….
So many happy thoughts of you. I think about our interactions and fun conversations. I do pray you’re doing well. Gosh, this COVID mess, makes it so difficult for so many.
Please get well soon….really miss you…..with love and God’s Speed. Roberta & Joe Keithley.
