An inside source (would like to remain anonymous) has informed me that Erika sat in her room for 2 hours, then got up and started moving! Talk about a trouper! Soon she will be moved from ICU to a regular room! On a different note, other people have access to posting posts, or you would read VERY entertaining posts every time! Good Morning Erika! I saw your progress for the day! I’m so proud for you! This is a start of such a beautiful & personal journey for you & with all you are going through.
I’m really happy you got to sit up today & walk around a bit. I can’t know, but only imagine, the uncomfortable feeling, but I can tell you each day you heal, it gets less & less painful….. that I can promise you! I hope you got some liquids or semi-soft food yet?! Rest up, think healing feelings, and comfort . I’m not sure if they use the air pumps on your feet, for circulation (since each surgery/patient is different)… but they used to put me to sleep (I felt it was like a relaxing foot massage!)If you don’t have that, ask for a comfy warm blanket to make you feel relaxed!
